We are delighted to announce that Sandi’s Dream is a finalist in the prestigious 2023 GOHBA Housing Design Awards for the category Best Renovation 150K – 250K!

Our client, Sandi, had long envisioned rejuvenating her kitchen, family room, and sunroom at her residence, a lovely property nestled on a golf course with a creek gracefully threading its way through.

Our initial site visit revealed potential structural issues, evident in the cracking drywall and a noticeable settling at a corner post. The demolition stage uncovered the root of the problem – a missing steel post from the initial 1986 construction and a deteriorating wooden post, victim to a prolonged roof leak.

We promptly engaged our structural engineer, who inspected the situation, and drafted and returned the stamped report the following business day, keeping our schedule on track.

The space was gloomy and tired, yearning for a transformation. Our approach involved comprehensive design planning before initiating the work, enabling us to complete the project within an impressive 33-day production time frame (or) six calendar weeks!

The outcome is a substantial enhancement in the layout and functionality of the space, fulfilling all of Sandi’s wish list items – and then some!

Our dedicated team commenced production on January 4, 2023, and wrapped up a day before Valentine’s Day, February 13, 2023.
